One day my mom called and told me her friends were looking into solar. She asked if I could help them out and give them some advice, since she knew I had lots of experience and knowledge in the industry. I ended up having a conversation with her friends, Chris and Patricia. They recently had someone knock on their door to sell solar, they were interested but still had reservations and questions. They felt overwhelmed with panel types, inverters, warranties, system sizes, pricing and simply choosing a company they could trust to really take care of them. It was at this moment I felt a spark of excitement, as I helped them navigate through all their questions and concerns. My years of experience and knowledge allowed me to give them the exact advice I would give my own mother if she was thinking about getting solar for her home. With this, Pierce Solar was born.
My mission and the mission of Pierce Solar, is to make solar simple and offer the best equipment to each client and treat each client as a good friend. It’s my goal to have each appointment be as rewarding and genuine as it was with my mom’s friends, Chris and Patricia.
Hi, I'm Joshua Pierce, the founder and CEO of Pierce Solar. My journey with solar began over seven years ago. Through the years, I’ve done it all. I’ve worked for small and large companies. I’ve earned awards for helping more customers than anyone else. I’ve seen the best and worst in the solar industry.
When covid lockdowns happened, it all stopped, as I was unable to go to customers' homes to discuss solar. I ended up taking a remote job in insurance… super exciting right? I have a joke for you, what’s more fun than hanging out with two insurance agents?
